Well, I've been doin some sketching for a few hours... Did alot of other stuff but at the end I decided to go with a classical fighter who is having a break in a match and getting his enhancements repaired. Maybe i'll change my mind again...

Well... haven't had much time to work but I thought I'd post a little work-in-progress image anyway.
The arm is coming along quite nicely I think. Ran in to some "technical problems" (perspective errs etc), so I've actually built it from the inside out. I can't really come up with a nice looking hand though, and it irritates me.
See you next time

Good work , but I think you must try to enhence his position to give him more personality !
it is a warrior and this mechanic arm make him powerful isn't it??

Drawing a powerful fighter is not really were I wanted to go with this... I think he is fighting a powerful one!
When you hear "machineflesh" I think most people go: "Oh! Alot of state-of-the-art technology!". I agree, but I wanted to do something that is not s.o.t.a. in the future. So I'm trying to make it look a little less high-tech, thats why the joints and cables are exposed etc. Him and his team are not very well funded, and this is all they could afford when he lost his real arm fighting a few years back. Maybe this arm is 15-20 years old and has been sold and resold and used by a dozen fighters before him?
I'm going to put a mechanic behind him, doing some adjustments/repairing during the half-time in the match. I tried to position him so you could see that he is tired - tired of many things. It's a real struggle to live on nothing, fighting with second-hand enhancements, always against super-sponsored steroid-pumping opponents.
Now he's kneeling, gathering his thoughts between heavy breaths: He is determined to win, against all odds.
And that's what makes him more interesting to depict than his superhightech monster-opponent!
