The tutorial is already ended and tested (three artists debug it). It shows how to make a manga-character, everything I was doing was recorded.
During compression (DivX 5.0, base resolution 320x240) I enabled cropping (to remove dark border) so resulting file has a resolution 266x210. Now I want to merge the file with another parts (prepared in another application), so I tried to compress parts in 266x210 too. And what? Divx 5.0 codec told me ?The source image format is not acceptable (error code ?2)?. The funny thing is the tutorial was compressed in that resolution! Let?s see what happens when I tried resize tutorial to 320x240. Everything is ok (i.e. without any error message), but every line in frame has different displacement, so it isn?t useful.
The most irritating thing happen was that I backup tutorial files on CD. Two days ago I wanted to use them once more and Max can?t read it. Why? I checked files and I saw that all are filled with zeros!!!
I loose heart to the tutorial. If you want to see it, please help. You find small part of avi file on www.imsart.republika.pl/part4web.avi , so you can check your ideas are working.
