here's mine, i hope i get some time to do it

his name is Gorf, he is a mountain dweller
his rear legs are designed for jumping up steep rock faces, which makes him ideal for pulling heavy loads, not being very intelligent makes for easy slavery

quick concept with dodge&burn overlay
i'm not to sure about the feet yet, and what kind of object he is going to be pulling

I hate to be the jerk to bring this up but I think that this concept will conflict with rule #5. Sorry to be the *ick, just figured I'd save you some time and work before you got too far into it.

I think it does not cross into the boundary of "HUMANOID".......... It's close, but it does not look humanoid totally. It's enough of a beast in my opinion.

As for the concept..............I think it looks very interesting. It also has an original look, it wouls be nice to see in 3D.......... :)

well i guess u could be right, but i didn't really see him as being humanoid, what i want to do is make his rear legs bigger and front a little smaller, if he is still to humanoid like then i'll just model him for fun

lildragon?

I'm not trying to bs an ass about this, and I promise this is the last you'll hear about it, but since people on this thread don't seem to know what Humanoid means I thought I'd post the definition:

hu·man·oid Pronunciation Key (hym-noid)
adj.
Having human characteristics or form.

n.
A being having human form: “humanoids from some far-flung planet” (Robert Brustein).
See android.

Source: The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition

Humanoid

n: an automaton that resembles a human being [syn: android, mechanical man]

That's the last I'll say about it. Sorry to be such a dickhead, this wasn't meant to be mean.

That wasn't directed only at you stal3fish. I'm sorry to hear that you have to leave the compatition. I think you are an amazing modeler and have some kick-a$$ skills, which is part of the reason I was so critical.

Anyway good luck with the freelance work!
