I used 6 area lights
maya, photoshop
rendertime is 5 mins- i think. for 2k version.

Nice work!
I'm almost sold on the first one! (except for where the grass in the photo is composited over the base of the sign, something strange there.
the lighting and film grain and hue seem right at home there (and the sculpture:beer: )

lol! I started to write.... "um it's not april fools anymore, no posting pictures"
then i realized that the statue wasa 3d model composited in a picture.
NICE WORK!

The concrete is too fake. His leg is too bright. I like the shaded wireframe model better. How about a little bit of bird's poop on his head?

thanks oboreo - maybe i'll just turn him into wires
someone took those photos- and they wanted a statue in it - so that's what i did.
they probably are from bay/bloor
