Hi grafi
I´m thinking about the story, but the essential concept is about a new stonger race of lions trained for war who developed mecanical parts to be more lethal and dangerous.
A new warrior has born.
Thanx for ask :wavey:

Be careful with enhancements that have to do with fighting/war there are quite a few around in the contest already. But I didn't see a lion yet ;)

Hi, i love the detail on your lion, youre a real fur artist. however I think there is something strange in the lower jaw, there is not enough tension on the cheeks and the position of the jaw mekes it look like it´s dislocated. maybe if you back it up and turn the fangs forward will help. i love the colors but it would be great if you give the mouth a more "wet" feeling.
Good luck, keep it going.:)

There's some great texture in that colour work... in the fur on the nose and the mane.

have you got any plans for the backfground?

Great texture work and painting, looks excellent. As for a suggestion for your background, considering youre going for a much more realistic approach, you could almost make it a national geographic type moment of the lion taking out a gazzelle from the rear, its a great action pose, the gazzelle could have mechanical implants of its own.

The other thing i thought of was perhaps an image with a lion tamer trying to put his head in the lions mouth.

Or perhaps the Lion is getting the paw implanted and is on an operating table.

I will point out though that atm the Paw off to the side of the Lions head looks good but it looks a little weird as its just coming out of the side of his face. At this point you cant see it attached to any of the other limbs and its a little strange looking in the position that it is in. perhaps if it was further away and slightly lower you could show a hint of the front shoulder raising up and show a piece of the arm extending out to the claw. I hope you know what i mean.:surprised ;)

But in any case keep it up, cant wait to see what you do with it.

:) :wavey: I still can't believe that I keep missing all these great entries.....

You've done a good job on the lion, which is a hard animal to draw. I think that you could have darkened the background on the righthand side a bit to match the light on the lion (and this might have added a bit more depth), but I'm just being picky and your final entry is really looking good...congratulations and good luck:)
