View Full Version : 3dsmax to xsi 2.01

hi, i decided to work with xsi 2.01 ( at least) but if i could inport some scene or object from 3dsmax4.2 it will be great for me.
it will be a good transition to begin and test some render between finalrender and mentalray.
i see an older post about that but i dont really seen what i am looking for. i only found max inport for xs1.0.
can someone help me?

Try the dotXSI exporter for MAX. This will allow you to export your MAX scene to the dotXSI file format. Then you can import the dotXSI file into XSI

i downloaded it. i made some try with basic sphere and cube but when i inport them in xsi the polygones turn mad :)
the object is not correct.
will try again, and post if it work.

ok it work now.
i use deep exploration 2.0 and it's ok. can convert all animation texture uvwmap ....
