Chips should let alittle light through them. good start anyway :)

Good try.
But they dont look like real chips, more like paper cuttings.
You also need better lights and angle.
Perhaps if you put a lot of them a bag or bowl, they may look ok.

I don't think I have ever seen Chips that would have been perfect in shape, now I have though. But I think they need some roughness.
Considering that they probably would have been heated to get that crisp they look very pale. If you added some red-brown blotched areas on them it would be more reallike.
A trancefluent shader would probably be in it's place to.
But they are nice, and they make me hungry.. now I gotta go fetch somthing to eat.. :p
