The ultimate step in a quest for the perfect thin waist. The caracter is a little in to fetish stuff...

I want my little lady to have a "normal" figure, as a contrast to the extreme things she´s done to herself. No silicon breast or looong legs...
But I still want her to look elegant and good looking. Its difficult!

Still lots and lots to to with the texturing. And I will add some more details to the modelling to. In time.

Welcome aboard Isabelle :wavey:

Great start here. How did you make her hair? Modeled and textured or the image is just to show your intention (like a paint over)? Can you show some wires and some close-ups? Will be easiest to see the details.

Keep it up and good luck

Thank you!
The hair is, this far, just a simple modell with some texture. I will post some wireframe image that will show how much work remains..closeups truly reveals all..

Before the final rendering, I ´ll put some smoothing on the hair, but as for now, I will consentrate on texturing and the making of a alfa and bumpmaps file

-I was inspiratet by some early 1930 moviestars, I like their hairstyle, called a "Marcel". Its very pratical do model also, as it falls very smooth and organized around the face.

And as for my progress, well, I was a little shy about entering, so I had done a lot of work before I dared submit anything. And then I sent a lot. But from now on, everyting will move slower.

And, oh, I work with Maya.

Some of my inspiration for the hairstyle. Pictures of actresses Mary Picford and Gloria Swanson from about 1930.

Hello Isabelle,

Your idea is sweet. Would you add some facial expression to her?
It could be great. Probably your final picture in grayscale could be fine. Just for a version.

High heels is a "must have" for a vane lady. Especially for one walking trough fetish-space. And with some minor improvements, like having your feet and part of your legs replaced with artifical ones, it does´nt even hurt to wear thoes 5 inch killer weapons.

Hi Isabelle,

Very original idea by the look of the character. I imagine it in a world of the "fourties style".

Ok, this realy does not have anything with my work to do, and probably, this is not the place to put it...but as an untechnical newbie I have no idea where it goes...

I found this "cake sculpture" and I think it should get an honorary prize or something! its great in a discusting kind of way!
Go see!

It was some time since I submitted anything. I have been able to do alot!
I have done changes in of the face, brests and arms, added eyelashes and eyebrows and more. When I felt resonably pleased and all my uv coordinates was in place for final texturing I added a skelett. Then I put the character the way she should be in the final rendering. I have also done some background work.
Things still do do with the modelling is fixing the small things, adding details..doing something with the hand resting on the tigh, adding facial expression and modelling boots!

A closeup of the face. I have given her eyebrows and eyelashes, reworked her nose and cheek and added som makup around the eyes. Most of this wonth be clearly visible in the end picture, but as it is to be high res. is still want the details there.
But its getting heavy to work with! Im throwing the skelleton away to make it a little lighter...

Cool idea you have going on there and the modelling is coming along very nicely, keep it up.

At the moment I´m consentrating my work on texture. I have several texture files for the charachter. (Hard to work with one giant highres file in Photoshop, better with several smaller!)
I put the metall peaces on one texture. that way I can give thme a shiny material and perhaps not have to use a specular map. To make it easyer to work in Mayas uv editor, I have divided the figure in several peaces. Otherwise their uv overlap in a very tangly way.

I have done a lot of work, like adding a specular map for the face and bumpmaps. But you need a high res close up to see most of it. But you can se some clr changes. She is paler of skin, has more makeup and red underware. Hmm. Im not shore what to do with those. Perhaps go back to moddeling and do something big, oldfacioned and lacerich with legs?

hmmm, yes... a terrific originality... something of disturbing :surprised ...

...but at the same time, I think that will make a composition very attaching, which one will have some problem to detached our eyes from her.

One feels a powerful and remote glance, lost.

The only thing which derange me a little, these are the shoulders, that I find a little too low and very horizontal.
Attention too with the round plates on the staircase, whose tesselation is not high enough. Also the same problem on the knee which one sees the polygons.

Good courage for the continuation, it's a very good work :bounce:

Thanks for the nice words! I will do something with the shoulders!
As for the knee, it will have to wait. I will put on a smooth when Im ready for rendering, and add some final touches after that. Hopefully the knee will improve then
: )

As for the stairs..I will do a lot mor on them to.
O. So much work still left...

Isabelle

Now thath I look at the face, I think I will give her some more colour again. I dont want her to have a sunburn. But right now its almost no difference between skin and the white of the eye.

It's looking good, shaping up really nicely.

The eyes look a little flat, did you paint the specular light on the diffuse bitmap?

Other than that I agree with you on the shoulders.

btw, nice panties ;)

hello Isabelle :)
I've watched your work for the contest since the begining, there is a very good mood in your C.G. and your character have a soul, i diggued a lot the first sketches you have done for the posing of your character, some things which disturb me for the moment are the posing of your character perhaps it should be more like a puppet but with the human soul through the eyes and the expression of here face.
I know what you mean about the time with the chinese piece of furniture which was like egyptian objects often used, but you should perhaps focus the time with the clothes... i don't know.

Thanks for your words about my works, i appreciate.

Hey,

I like the concept and the model. I’ve always been a fan of stilettos collars and whatnot. The model pose seems a little stiff to me, like she is being disciplined or scolded. The look of the model makes me think she would be the one doing the disciplining. I think most doms have a much more relaxed body language, like they have nothing to worry about. So, I guess what I’m trying to ask is if she is more dominating or submissive? Also, what kind of profession is she in? I get the impression that she is a dancer or entertainer, back stage changing costumes. Maybe I’m way off let me know.
Good luck.

I have not done anything on this project in a long time. To much training, activitys with friends and a nice, sunny, distracting spring has come in the way! But this weekend I´ve done a lot of working. And the off-time was god for me. It gave me the enrgy to do some much needed changes. The pose of the lady is changed, the body mods do shows less, but it looks better.
Shes got a shirt. The boots is finaly done. And I have added a ambient light that tints the whole scene with a rusty red yellow.

I took a litle jump forward and tested som post effects..
I think I will add an even stronger yellow/red tint and then drain the whole image of color...I tested it. And I kind of like it.
But first..before I can use this on "the real image". I have more to do with the light and camera angel..and background..god..i thing a will make the backround realy shady and full of darkness so it whont show...(*being lazy*)

Isabelle
05-23-2004, 05:32 PM
It just hit me that Im realy bad when it comes to working linear.. I do a little of this..a little of that...tests textures before the modelling is done..and basicly works in the most disorganized way...
But it actually works for me! And belive it or not. I have a clear goal!

I was experimenting with lights. Suddenly I got an interesting effect. Black burned out ares with turqoise linings appered, were nothing should appear. I guess I have to corect it. Sigh. But I kind of like it!
I have also added some more background image. I will show you more of that tomorow!

Mm..so hard to settle for a camera angel. I finaly shose this. I think it gives the image a little more energy than a "straight on" shot from the front. Also, it shows the augmentations of the waist well. But i did like the face better shown from the front...

And here she is!

A somewhat vane fetish mistress.
Just to gain some extra inches, she operated away her waist. No one can get as thin as she, in her corsette, now!
And while she was in the spirit for operations, she changed her heels, feet, and even the joints inside her knees. Made them stronger, metall clad. And all the pain of these operations had just one purpose. To make her able to walk in even higher heels without growing tiered or feeling ace.
To make her more desierable...a perfect metall glimmering mistress.
