All,

I have a pair of eyeballs that are currently 12 and 6 oclock on the x-plane. I need to rotate them to 9 and 3 oclock on the z-plane. When i go to rotate them they stay in place and spin. They need to pivot on the x-axis. Any idea how to do this?

Thanks in advance,

Chopps

You need to group the objects before you rotate them.

Select both objects, and hot control-g (or apple-g for mac).

Then make sure you are in group selecting mode and rotate.

You may also need to move the normal of the group to rotate the objects the way yuou want. Select the group and press the insert key. move the normal to where you want the group to rotate around and hit the insert button again for the change to take effect.

Good luck.

Sam

i found even an easier way. I checked the box that said keep objects in current location. That did the trick. Thanks for the help.
