View Full Version : IGUANA | free (external) GI Renderer for Maya

Iguana is a global illumination rendering engine that runs on Windows (XP and 2000) and Red Hat Linux, it's multithreaded, and it's for Maya. It's not a plugin, it's a standalone renderer (but it can be set off from Maya). It reads Maya scenes directly, without any translation at all. It's terribly simple to use. And it's free - yes, my darlings, free...

Have you done any animations with GI on this yet? If so I'd like to hear about its effectiveness.
