Yes , a great loss.

Coincidentally, Id just been reading John Canemakers book about the nine old men, including the chapter on Kimball. He sounded like a real feisty character, as much as being a great animator.

Is everyone aware Ward Kimball had a full size, working railroad in his back yard, including a bunch of vintage locos and rolling stock? Amazing.
