Just trying out an idea with a brief sketch. An all-powerful ruler who has had himself built into his throne, connecting him to the technological backbone of his empire. He cannot move his legs, but his mind can move across the world and through space.

Here's the head, without any machine modifications yet. Still need to work on the mouth and ear specifically, as well as some other general details. I'll probably be making it considerably asymmetrical as well.

This piece will probably be called...

GOD EMPEROR

A regal monarch, supreme ruler of the galactic empire - head of state under the mandate of heaven. The throne and its occupant is, with all its awesome powers, a true GOD EMPEROR.

Started working on the machine aspect of the head. Little tubes on the jaw will probably be 'tied off' in some way, I'll use a throat tube for breathing/feeding instead. The thing on his skull will have a mass of wires coming out of it, it's the main neural connection.

Damn good job so far, Tim!

Great head and facial expression, and those veins/wrinkles/damages on his cheek look marvellous. Looking forward to see what happens next here!

Just a close-up of some of the mechanical details I'll be attaching to the face.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! Hopefully I'll be able to find some time away from schoolwork and my own challenge to look over the other entries. I'm just having too much fun with my own :)

Just a quick update, saved out of Paint (excuse the poor compression). Remember that he'll be sitting, and I'm modeling him posed. Oh, and it's kind of squashed from non-linear resizing in paint.

Still going very well I see!

The crease representing the lower edge of the pectoralis looks like it could be relaxed a bit though... imho of course.... great stuff otherwise!
