Hey...these are a few sketches I did recently.

They're done really quick (10-20 minutes each) so there's no real detail. They're studies for a class I'm doing. Supposed to be slightly impressionistic with focus on stroke and color.

They're nothing special but I figured I'd post 'em just to see what I could improve on. Thanks!

All done in Photoshop 8 with one brush

I like impressionists but I don't think your pic's are completely in that style, if you know what I mean.
It could do with a little more 'arrogance'.

(Gosh this forum makes me talk arty-farty. I hate people who talke that way.)

Um.. so anyway... I meant a little bit more 'carelesness'. Maybe more and different colors?

Yeah ...the first one is definitely too detailed too be impressionistic. (It's not really detailed but too detailed for impressionistic....). The others aren't meant to be totally impressionistic either. I was trying to copy their styles. I merely meant that I was focusing on the stroke. And as far as color I'm not supposed to use more than a few colors (and sometimes just 1 or 2).
