Hi Inkonyto and no problem concerning your English, mine is certainly also bad or as good as yours.
It's necessary that you know a thing here, which is most important, it's our passion for the Computer Graphics.
Moreover, I hope to see you soon beginning your artwork.
Let's go my friend :bounce:

Thanks my friends for the messages (I won't forget the passion Lemog...)
Here is my concept : The future of mankind is not the earth. we will have to find anothers planets if we want to survive. Mars is the nearest possibility. Let's go for terra-formation.
My idea is to imagine what kind of men could handle this job...
Here is some sketchs for help :
For hard jobs, we'll have worker. Taken from prison, they have been modified. Their muscles are improoved. 2 more arms for tools. Legs are replaced by spider mechanical legs (i'm not sure about that...). Thair brain are also modified in order to make them obediant and emotion less
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/inkonyto/images/machineFlex/terra_worker_1.jpg
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/inkonyto/images/machineFlex/terra_worker_2.jpg
For the command of mission, we'll have architects. Being an architect is such a nightmare : We cut your head and replace it by an electronic one (a brain more powerful and efficient). We put your old face in front of your new head for a more "human look".
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/inkonyto/images/machineFlex/terra_architect.jpg
I'am still thinking about my concept and i'm not sure about the final composition.

I forget that :
IF SOMEONE HAVE ALREADY CHOOSEN THE TERRA FORMATION AS CONCEPT, PLEASE TELL ME... :)
I also would like to expose my second choice for this challenge. I abandoned this idea because it'not exactly the subject of challenge.
Image : A mechanical woman (entirely robot except face) looks at a human body and cry.
Concept : The robot think about his condition and ask himself : "Am i living ?". If he can cry, why not ?
Abandonned sketch : (the design is used for architects in my new concept)

I liked much the idea with the woman robot, but it's certainly a very difficult subject that it's on the level of the realization that interpretation.
Then the other very interesting subject perhaps, with the condition to not falling into the topic of the "super hero", and please, like Serge, no legs of spiders. But it's you the only Master on board.
Vas-y Inkonyto, tu tiens le bon bout :buttrock:

Good beggining my friend !
Just too or three point...
In the back, the light hollow of the homoplates... on the level of the knees, currently, one having sensation that swell which girdles, will be necessary to mark a little more the "menisque" one on the front, without the form exceed of too on the sides... (there, I don't know if it's well clearly).
The folding on the level of the elbow is to be worked a little more... at the interior, the light hollow of with the small cavity of humerus and behind, the light acute protuberance...
There is always the dish of the fall of kidneys... the side view doesn't enable me to see well, but it would seem that the bust is a little too ahead (center of gravity), which would tend to amplify the dish with the top of the gluteus.
A terribly good work for the moment... continu

Good start on the modelling mate =) I like your concepts too and its good to see your taking the time to come up with a good subject matter for this.
I like the last two ones the best and the robot crying is my favourite, although, the side on view of the robot kinda reminds me of the female robot from AI. It was a good design, but it just freaked me out too much for me to like it all that much!! =)
Looking forward to seeing some more progress from you.

I've been disconected for a while but i'm back...
Ionized, thank you for your post. I'm still thinking about my concept and especially how a robot can cry (with or without emotions). It's true the design looks like AI's one, i'm still thinking about that...
Lemog, thanks my friend. (Tu disais que j'aurais besoin de passion, mais je crois qu'il me manque surtout du talent...)
I'll post the continuation very soon .

english version: so, let us see inkonito, don"t worry, that arrives at everyone,
and they are only small momentary falls, and it is normal when one
works extremely and for talent question, you have some much does not
worry you on this subject and as lemog said, you proved to us at the
time of the contest mayalounge that you had some to resell, and I
never said myself it, but your image in the contest my was preferred
and if that had not been that of me I would have proclaimed you
gaining... then good day and good continuation...

I finished the global shape of the head. I'm s disapoint because it doesn't look like the model. In fact, it's look like a male :surprised
Any help will be welcome to improve that :

hello inkonito, it is very good like modeling, but the nose is too large , it is the reason for , air more male than female, approximately the difference between the men and the women in the face are: the women have smaller noses than the men, larger eyes, larger lips, and finer features, reduced tone nose a little and I is certain that that will become more female, finally it with you of is decided, I hope that that will help you a little...
Lemog
04-30-2004, 09:34 AM
A very good beginning of face friend.
Some small note:
- curve of the nose start a little too low, as if it didn't have the cartilage which is under the top of bone nose, before the hole in cranium.
- the shape of the nostrils is not marked enough, which gives a triangular form to the base of the nose.
- the ears are a little too reducing backwards.
- the cranium is not developed enough in its general form.
- do not forget the caruncles either, because for the moment, that gives the too symmetrical shape of eye.
Small details, but the base is very good, one thus awaits the continuation with much impatience.

Always the ear a little too directed towards the back and each eye a little too symmetrical, for the remainder, without hesitation, it's much better, Inkonyto cheer... the continuation now ! :applause:

don't be negative inkonito, because of this challenge you learned how to make very beautiful eyeslashes, (and me also, lol) your modeling is better and better, as your textures,on always learns something while taking part in the challenges and while being measured with great artist , that forces us with exceeded is -even... and that returns each time to us a little better. then me I congratulate you to have taken part...
