View Full Version : Modelling shoulders....
Mattrne 07-09-2002, 12:14 PM I'm currently building a model of a cyclops, from nurbs in maya, who is very muscular. I've built his torso from s few spheres which I have blended together and I've also built his arms from some cylinders. However, I'm hit a bit of a creative stump - I can't work out how to create a muscular shoulder and attach the arm - has anyone got any suggestions?

well the should is similar to a compressed ball in the front of the body, in the back its really an extension of the back muscles i dont know if that helps.

http://cube.phlatt.net/home/spiraloid/tutorial/muscle_loop.html should help for the shoulder/ back region - any reason for using NURBS? The flow should work the same either way.

A good book on human anatomy can always be useful.
