Help me with Brazil RENDER!!!!!!

I don't know which version you use, btw be sure you don't use MAX raytraced material in you scene!

brazil makes max crash with me also,, i found that it it always when the sample rate is set to high and i am generaly using GI also when this happens,, also if u i render from orthopedic vews it crashes,,always render from camera of perspective

try rendering as soon as u select brazil as your current renderer, without making any adjustments just render a cube of something,,

them slowly ease up the settings,,

i found these settings work well

set the sample rate to

-min 0

-max 4

I dunno, which version of MAx you have, and what OS.

I was having some trouble with Brazil too. Everytime I close the render dialogue it would crash. Then I instaled Win2K and it works beautfully now :)

What kind of settings are you guys using??

I am always fine with image sampling set to min=1 and max=2 with jitter on.
There shouldnt be any problems with the raytrace material nor the orthographic views IF you have the latest build which you can download from www.splutterfish.com

And please be carefull with the settings. ;)
