No surprise. The review is by Nick Nunziata, who runs www.chud.com. He's been raving about it for months. Can't wait.

Not much about the movie in the article. He just gripes about some movies being good while others are bad.
Pretty weak testimonial in favour of the movie IMHO.
Regardless, it does look like fun and I think Ron Perlman will be great in it. Looking fwd to it!

I saw it 2 weeks ago @ a Special Public screening here in Austin and it freaking rocked!
You won't be disappointed. If you are a Hellboy fan, Del Torro won't let you down.
Perlman rocks as Hellboy!
Go see it...everyone!!!

Was really surprised by the CNN review, most of the reviewers always seem to blast scifi/action/comic book flicks. I would have see it even it it got bads reviews from critics, been a long time fan of Mike Mignola, Hellboy and Del Toro, so this is one I have to see. Does the guys from Frasier play Abe?

I'm looking forward to it. I thought Blade 2 was pretty fun.

David Hyde Pierce voices Abe Sapien, a guy named Doug Jones did the suit work.

re: blade 2
neither blade or blade 2 are examples of fine cinema....
but hell, any movie that can somehow incorporate WWF moves to a fight sequence is ok in my book.
my only gripe is that if you're gonna go for it, YA GOTTA GO FOR IT! how about a PILE DRIVER?! COME ON!
'some mother f ers... always trying to ice skate up hill'
brilliant.

If this movie had any redeeming qualities besides eye candy, I’d be more then happy to do a review, but since it does not, why would I bother with this garbage.

Btw its natural born critic, not critique (critique=verb)….;)

p.s. i just don't mind bad special fx movies much. i get to watch fx, i get to eat some popcorn... it's all good. but a bad drama... BLECH... now there's something without a redeeming value in sight!
