here my latest work, all flesh textures was painted on potoshop 8,and for the machine it was taken from my library and i changed a little bit on photoshop. As you can see the flesh texture seem using sub surface scattering, but actually it didn't,it use a tecniques that similiar with steven stahlberg skin shading tutorial, the main different is i am using fluorescence instead ambient,& also i would like to thank you to Mr.steven that given his knoledgement for all of us.

actually i've sent this milestone, but i wonder why it can't displayed on thread page,so i send it again. Here my explanation for the character, for the flesh component i use patch modeling, and for mechanical i uses booelan tecniques, then i make some face expression for finding mood from the character it self, for finally i added some temporary rigging for the character.

This is my several lighting condition that i am working on it,such like daylight and 2 night lighting (fantasy{left one} & realistic{right one}).I am still trying to pursue and of course imagening what the final image look like,so i made several choice from the ligthing it selves. From the left picture i used GI combined with spotlight, also from different angle i used omni light (specular only),just to simulates "sweat like" for the character itself, because bassicly this character is still ALIVE not DEAD.And for the middle one it's actually almost same with the left pic.The main different is the the color who affected the skin,in this case soft blue light. And for the last one it's just used 1 single spotlight & 2 omni. The purpose of this several lighting is to increasing the characteristic from the character it self.So at this point i am really need some inspiration who hitting my head ha ha....(your comment, suggestion, critique are welcome) thank you guys.

Great entry I think its coming along really well! Textures and modelling are looking spot on!

When I saw your lighting options the first thing I thought was -combine those suckers! :) Maybe not what your looking for but I think in combining the darker shadows from the omni lit one with the two color GI passes will give you a more dynamic final pic. Just a quick photoshop comp to show you what I mean, http://prowl.50megs.com/Forandreasbani.jpg

keep up the great work looking forward to seeing the final!

I dig the dude. I dig the robotics. But, the arms are looking kinda wimpy. Have you tried making them longer? The really dark version on the right would be interesting I think, I'd like to see you pull it off. Very uber-chariscuro!

hi guys this my compositing phase, for the background i took it from my near city.I used camera digital (Nikon 7500),then i retouched on photoshop to fixed something i don't want and for the character i modified a little bit especially for the color to match with the background, after that i painted some smoke effect.

Really nice mood and environment dude. Only thing would be bigger arms and thicker legs to give him that extra menace?? Great modelling all the same. Juz my two cents. :applause:
