This is the year 2399, the human race has been able to survive till now, but the condition of the planet earth is very bad, humans are not able to use their natural lungs anymore cause of the toxines in the air, these ones are replaced before they go out to the surface for first time in their lives, before that they have to be under the surface, sunbeams are too strong for human skin, therefore humans have to wear special clothing and also special masks to filter sunbeams, in other words, because his bad behaviour in the past with the environment, now they have also lost some of their senses, not completely but almost, canīt breath with their own lungs, feel with their skin and see without filters.
It is like living in jail inside your own body, but they donīt even know that it is the way they were borned and they know that some day in the past was different but they canīt now even imagine it.

here it is a little update of my entry, i think is getting shape but still a lot of work remaining.
i would like to get some comments and feedback if posible.

Here is an update, I started putting some color and basic lighting, is getting a little bit of shape but still a lot of work remaining to get to the idea I have in my head. Actually, my idea of putting the instruments inside the body is because I want to keep close to reality, in a near future this is the way itīs gonna be :). People are in good shape because at that time there will be no animals nor plants to eat,the diet will be based on fluids and tablets containing the exact amount of calories and proteins required by human body. In each posting I'll be putting more image updates as well as explaning more about how future will be like according to Krystian's thoughts :).
It would be very nice if I could get some comments. Thanks

The picture has more depth since you have added some color, I like the setting and your idea on the visible machine
04-01-2004, 07:37 PM
hey mann thanks for your coments i really apreciate them.
04-03-2004, 07:27 AM
here is another update of the coloring proces, coments and critics are well come, i think not many people like my piece because im not getting any coments...:(, but any way i always have fun creating concepts.
sorry for my english.
04-03-2004, 09:38 AM
I think that the composition/action does not help- it would be more interesting to see one of these humans having a lung replaced in a hi-tek laboratory...
04-03-2004, 09:30 PM
thanks for your coment tedjel, i agree with you actually the siluete on the left hand side is going to be someting like you said not exactly but is gointo be one of this humans laying and the inside showing the mecanical parts like in a laboratory also the botom part is going to have some grafics showing the machines closer.
thanks again for your coment.

one more update of the coloring stage comments and critics are welcome.
04-07-2004, 02:56 AM
I have one question about the concept which is why do they have a see through plate to show their lung.. is it because it has ot be replaced regularily?
Perhaps to emphasize the idea that the air is unbreathable there should be sooty smoke in the air.. perhaps you will add that later.
04-07-2004, 04:18 AM
First of all thanks for your comments, regarding your question, they have a see through plate because theyīll also have some indicators showing when the
lungs filters need to be replaced and check that everything is working fine as well. As for the dust and smoke, Iīll be adding them.
04-07-2004, 06:07 AM
yeah smoke will be fine,.. great composition and color also, keep up! :)
04-08-2004, 06:36 AM
Hereīs another update, Iīm adding more details to the characters such as indicators like holograms actually I really like holograms so you can expect to see lots of them in the image.
Comments and critics are welcome.

WOW~! The color really makes all the difference with this piece! Excellent!
The only crit that I have so far is the lady with the nice butt on the left hand side of the art. With her costume detail, it seems to look more like bare muscle than it does a body suit of some kind. Perhaps tweaking the color a bit might help with that.
Keep it goin'! I wanna see more!
04-08-2004, 04:07 PM
Very interesting !
It looks very believable, I wouldn't like to live in such an environment !!!
Great coloring wip, I just think that the body of the foregound man is a bit too large...
04-13-2004, 05:38 AM
here is another update of the coloring process, iīm adding details but i still have to work a lot more on the humans and in the overall piece, coments and critics are welcome.
04-17-2004, 06:06 AM
another update, adding more details, still a long way to go, comments and critics are well come as always.
06-05-2004, 07:57 AM
it's been a long time since the last update, comments and critics are wellcome,
06-05-2004, 10:28 AM
Two things... 1st, you said about sunlight too strong for skin, etc., but the picture is dark. sure, we do know about UV... but then I would make picture more blue-violet, not yellow. :lightbulb
And 2nd, guys look ok, but girls... Is it really so necessary to remove their brests, I wouldn't do so.
06-05-2004, 08:36 PM
gee I think that the closer figures needs more detail, (probably because itÂīs a WIP :D ) the background looks sweet :)
06-06-2004, 03:23 PM
thanks for your comments guys, yes about the colors on the picture, when i'm done with the coloring proces i wi'll color correct the overall picture and about the detail actually i still Have to add alot of detail in the caracters and alitle more in the backround, about the brest of the girls, i think there is not much i can do about it one of the brest will have to be artificial ..:hmm:
thanks again for your comments and feedback.
sorry fror my english.
