CGTalk - Materials mods not saving with scene?

View Full Version : Materials mods not saving with scene?

Just wanted to know if anyone has experience this problem.

I spent countless hours texturing my can yestery to get it right where I liked the way it was. I did multiple saves duriong this process( ie Scene Rev1 , rev2 ) but when I open the scene this morning its back to the way it was when I first started working on it, what did I do wrong? Am I suppossed to save my materials or objects?

The Previous days everything was OK, Just starting yesterday, I called Soft and this one has them stumped as well, I am able to create a new scene and save my mods but seem like a corupt project :( . I have reinstalled, created a new project and saved the scene to it and still no go.

Here are my specs:
Dual 1.8 Xeons
512MB
Win2K SP2
XSI 2.03
Geforce3 Ti200 (softquadro'd)

hmm perhaps you moved folder or something. try putting a check mark in "save external stuff in project" in the save menu. hope it helps

Seems to be a corupt project/Scene...earlier revisions of the scene work fine.
