Hi Michi! Remember to integrate enough flesh to mak clearly visable, the machineparts are a part of him and he is sort of grown together ith it, also, the reason WHY he has those parts.
Oh, And best luck to you too!!! :buttrock:

Hi Michi!
Ok, I will write yoou a bilingual comment, to help you figuring out what i am trying to explain.
First, the new sketch looks heaps better, also your idea gets clearer visable. still, he looks very robotic to me. The body has still not more than 10% flesh on it, it how about instead trough the chest letting him suck in the air trough the hips, and let him have a human torso?
To make him able to navigate, id' shape the groundplate "dome-shaped".
Minor airstreams in different directions make him able to keep ballance, even thought he may use magic to manage that :D
If he has that much metal on his body, the airstreams must be very stong to keep him in the air. So the consequence of that will be a strong interaction with the environment, and his coat (assuming its fabric) should fly then strongly in the wind.)
and now in gut alter german: :p
Zuerst: Geil gemacht Michi, dein 2.
Keep on Rockin' The Sketch looks promising, looking forward to a great work!!!!!

Hi Michi.
Take care you work carefuly in all definititions of the mass, as well as the detailing. A good model takes time, so don't haste. you can always detach details as well and work out them separately when this helps in keeping the overview. You might also look close to the tutorial of Wiro, who did a graet boxmodeling in the tutorial section of his site click here for WIRO's site (http://www.secondreality.ch/) .
Its not a shame to use References, drawn or photos, whatever helps you to get a clean and well defined model. Its just the result that counts. And all ways that help you to get there are ok.
Keep it up and make me go wow!
