hey, nice concept! I really dig the feet. the straps that connect the beast to the contraption should be a bit lower for better weight distribution. It would be cool if the creature also used its arms to help it pull the contraption along. maybe give it a large block of wood in the front for it to grab onto and push.
good stuff though! can't wait to see more!:p

Nice design. As far as the muscle structure. Anything you find about dinosaur muscle structure is basically guess work by someone (because fossils don't have info on the muscle shape/size). If you want to base the muscles on something real I think a blend between an orangatang or chimpanzee for the upper arms and an ostrich for the legs and body would be your best bet. I'll see if I can find any decient pics of those for you.

hey, that's a lot better. the bone-cart thing rules! whoever gave you the inspiration for that is the master!!!
still think it needs a giant laser cannon that could fire a laser that would deflect off of saturn and blow-up uranus.
peace out.

The legs are really starting to look awesome. I love the little folds you added just above the heel. That's such a nice little touch.

damn u chad man! ur goin down! heh!
sorry this is a bit late, but for muscle structure, what i used was kinda a mix between human legs, and lion, because i worked on the griffon last challange i used alot of that knolledge the rest i kinda just made up :D but it works eh
umm yea man ur hind quarters there are lookin pretty damn spiffy, witch means i have to step up my progress :D
good luck

Maybe try making more of a curve where it meets the body, or a little shoulder. Looks good by the way.

ahh chad, yes the arm doesnt attach very well, ive had this same problem when i started my character, i ened up starting again witch isnt the best advice heh, but i had the same problem with the griffon too, its hard to get that front arm to attach, right now it looks like it just sinks into the skin, u have to have the muslces from the chest and sholders form into the arm connection, u really ahve to get under the skin and make the muscles work for u, take a look at how certain animals are, like horses, lions :D humans anything, ull get some ideas. try modeling his sholder blades figure out where tehy are and go from there, gl :D

I think the arms are too far forward on the chest. Try moving them out to the sides and closer to the back/spine. that might help tie them in a bit more.

this Zro-1 character is a smart person. I totally agree. plus you should add a laser cannon.

if something goes wrong, you can allways resort to laser cannons... or beer :D

I agree with Zro too, bring the arms up and out more twords the spine. Also add sholder blades and possibly a rib cage for more detail. What you might want to do is sketch out your characters muslce and or bone sturcture(s), this might help a bit more.
On another note, Chad (great name by the way!), better watch out people might think your me... >click< (http://www.cgchat.com/board/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=2529) :p

Hey hey!
Looking good chad 'ol boy. The arms looking better how it attaches.
The only critique i could think of is that the knee is a little too round... I think it needs just a bit of varience in it. Feel your knee, you'll know what i mean :) Other than that its looking great man!

hey this looks really good. you might want to add some muscle definition on the neck part, the whole character has a hint of muscle definition except the neck. looks really good so far, keep it up!!!

Hey Chad,
I like your dinosaur and have to say that the bone cart rules! We've got similar BOBs, so it's interesting to see yours develop alongside mine. :) You're doing a great job so far! Keep up the good work, and don't worry about the lack of comments. There are so many challenges this month that it's hard to comment on everyone's. :)

I'm sorry the chad, we're you lonely? All you have to do is "knock" on my door and I'll come over and visit with you. J/K :p hehehe I'm such a smart-a$$
Seriously though, your beast is coming right along. I do have a couple crits for you:
I think that the horns on its head either need to be tilted a little back or a little foreward. i'm not crazy about them coming straight up from its head like that.
The spikes on its back need to be a bit more random and irregular. They look too simular right now.
Lastly, I really think this BoB needs a tail. I look at the last few pics and it just looks like it's missing something back there.
Just my 2 cents
