View Full Version : Help a newbie to CG
Xephar 07-08-2002, 07:46 PM Well, I am not exactly a newbie. But I am trying to make an Anime style character for Unreal Tournament. And I am having a hard time, i've never box modelled a character... infact i've never modelled a character before. So I was wondering if any body has any hints or tips I could use? Or maybe some technique?

Sure, either open any of the help files with your modeling software, or type in "box modeling" in any search engine online...

Yep!
To start with box modeling the best thing u can do is read the MAX guide.
Start manipulating a simple cube, working with all its elements: vertices, edges and polygons... try some modifiers, try try and try!
When u begin to find it FUNNY u r on the good way!
Ciao.
