I don't know too much about animal anatomy, but the head certainly needs to be bigger, and the neck might need to be a little more slender. The body might need to be a little 'shorter' too, right now it sort of reminds me of one of those weiner dogs. Still looks good though!

Hmm, i think the problem here is that the horse its self is too bulky. Especially at the front.

Hmm or is it maybe the legs r too short, some thing to do with the proportion is off.

Can I see the shots you are useing for renerece please?

I agree with the longer neck point made and i might be tempted to take some of the rigidity out of the tale. I always thought a horse tales were long and thin with hair that hung from it?

Are you planning on animating this?
One idea might be checking out the making of the dreamworks film, Spirit, some good horse stuff in there.
