Hello,

I have two machines that I use that are running on Windows XP. One is a 3D Machine the other a 2D machine. I have my 2D machine hooked up to the network at my job. No domain just a Workgroup connection. I put a second ethernet card in my 2d machine and plugged that into my 3D Machine. The intension is to have a graphics network which is connected to the business network. I can render on my graphics network without using business network resources. I told my 2D machine to Connect to the Workgroup as a computer which connects to the Internet through a hub. I then set up my 3d machine telling it to Connect to the network through another computer or residential gateway. I can't get them to see each other. What will I do??

Thanks in Advance....
Roger

I'm not sure if I understand what you're trying to do. but if you want your one machine to have internet acces and the other not to but want both of them to see each other then connect them with crossover cable. this should look like this:
PC1 ---- ethernet card ---- internet
PC1 ---- ethernet card --crossover-- PC2

Hope this is what you are looking for.
