View Full Version : Cut Edge other then Center 50% in C4D8.5,Plug ?

Looken for a Edge Cut that I can tell it to cut the Edge but instead of dividing down the center where it's 50% of either side.
I would like the option of 10% one side and 90% the other side. or 20%/80, 30%/70, etc etc.
Is there no way to do this inside of C4D ? If not, care to recommend a Plug ?

you can do it with Mesh surgery

There's also a free plugin called "Saw" (http://home7.highway.ne.jp/winter-m/plugin.html) that lets you specifiy the distance between the existing edges (or points actually, since it's an XL7 plugin). But yeah, Mesh Surgery handles this beatifully and, IMHO, should be considered a must-have plugin.
