Hi all.
This organic character is somehow a very first experience for me. It's why i'll post it here.
Usually i'm more focused on realistic modeling and work mostly with references (drawings or pictures in backdrop). But this time i wanted to do something completly different so i decided to draw without any references.
I started with a 4 point poly and sculpted this organic thingy point by point. General shapes are a bit off by now but i will try to finish a rough body and then add details like wrinkle, etc..
Will post progression as soon as i have enough time to continue (doing it on my spare time).

Test render with ear merged:

Comments welcome.

Looks great, its gotta fetus23 style to it:)

Don't like the ears tho. You've gotta a fairly unique looks to the rest of the head, but the ears look too human. I'd say just put a hole there, or maybe some kinda shrek ear.

Great start tho.

while i like the model i find the Pshop composition text highly offensive, and not contributing to the piece, therefore to avoid politicisation of this post i kindly ask you to remove text or substiute for something else that will not have such clear political view.

Highly offensive?
The text is an article copy-pasted from an online newspaper from a well known editorialist...
In what manner you find it offensive?

Oops can't find the link again. I guess it was an article from a professor at Yale University. Will try to find it again on monday.. Now is time to go on week-end ;)

Oh.. And yea.. I find the today world pretty violent and as a citizen of a "laic" state i pretty don't understand hatred for other's religion.. Just my grain of salt.. Back at 3D talk NOW. ;)
