Hi All,

I about had a heart attack tonight. My demo reel's about done, so I needed to burn a test DVD. Oops, Sonic MyDVD (comes with Pioneer DVD burner drives...) says it can't recognize .Mp3 format. WTF? I was MAD. However, I figured out the problem. I'm using an external Sound Card (Creative Labs Extigy I believe..) and my nephew decided to come in and push the powerbutton on it. I had no idea that Sonic's transcoding tools were reliant on my sound card. (note: Maybe Creative's driver tries to intercept all sound?)

I couldnt' find anything on the web about this problem, so I'm recording it here in case anybody else with this odd set of circumstances runs into it. Make sure you have a sound card to make DVDs with Sonic MyDVD. :)
