I just noticed that motherboard (http://www.biostar.com.tw/products/mainboard/board.php3?name=M7VIK) I want to buy has a small hitch; It can support 333Mhz FSB and PC3200 RAM, but not at the same time. If a 333Mhz FSB is used, the the memory support is only PC2700.

Bearing in mind that I can't spend more than $95 on RAM, which way ought I swing?

Dude, u got it all muddled....

DDR 200/266/333/400
*If use FSB333MHz CPU, the Memory support only DDR333 (PC2700).

basicly it means that if the CPU, not the memory has a FSB of 333, then of course it can only use 2700 RAM. You CAN however use the DDR400 ram, which is the PC3200. This is because DDR RAM will UNDERCLOCK to the speed needed.

What they mean is, you can;t run slower ram like a PC2100, when your CPU needs PC2700 at a minimum.

Get it?
