Fiew words about the image
Everything is modelled in 3ds max except the hair that is painted after in photoshop i used vray for rendering, the whole scene took 4 days to complet from start to end hope you like it, all comments are welcome.
Best regards Linda.
wow man it looks very great!! You did all this in only 4 days??
I really like the brownisch look of it and the way the light falls in to the room
The only crit I have is the girl, not only her hair looks painted but her body also. Maybe because of the white line on the left of her pands.

Okke glad you liked it the white line you are talking about is the falloff material i used for the fabric :)

Good jpb. Looks like a scene out of a nancy Drew mystery.
The only item I find a bit distracting is the amount of light reflecting on the globe. Nice atmosphere overall.

Very nice style !

Her butt is so perfectly defined they she seems naked (pronounced neck-id) from the butt to her upper knee. I wouldn't mind, but i have no idea how old she is, and i don't want to break any age violations in my head.
very nice linda, luv your style, my only crit would be that her hair doesnt really fit with the rest of the image, but other than that...I love it.

:applause: I agree with birk, the hair doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the image, the pants also, but other than that you have done a great job, the textures are awesome, the chair I think is a bit clean texture wise, maybe give it the same treatment as the rest of the wooden items in the room, rough it up a bit.

top stuff, another one for the cg choice gallery methinks!

I`ve seen a few of your pics here before. They are all really well done...but the one thing I noticed about all of them is the human characters. They really distract from the whole image.....to me they don`t fit in texture wise with the rest of the scene.
I know you paint some of their features as you say.......
Just a critique...

looks good man~~ good image...
my crits are following..
1. bookshelf sure looks old... and everything else in the image... EXCEPT the chair... i can see the dirt that is sitting on the chair, but it still looks too "new" for the room... maybe you need to add some blackish colour or something to it to make it look older... and to the chair legs too...
2. and window? it looks too clean.. make it dirtier... i mean... like you know.. those marks... rain marks or water marks.. like they leave marks even they are all dried up right?
that all i wish you did add... l still really love your image... well done!!!!

I would really like to see the wire, pls. On the otherpoints I guess I would have to agree with the others.
Riktigt snyggt för övrigt Linda, hur har du gjort texturerna? :)

But it looks for my tast too much posteffects.
The back bart of the girl doesn't have the natural round shape, no gravity is pooling it down. The same for the hair. The objects around the girl are good, but the girl itself is by far not what I consider good organic modeling. The outside scene seams to be not enough outside, perhaps you know that as more distant in the nature something gets, the more blury and desaturated it is. This could be good work if you could correct this.

Luiz: the rendering took about 30 minuites.
Bor du i Brasilien?
I have to say that this image wasn't made to reach a realistic look moore like from a storybook.
