hi all,

after searching some threads here, i found that an agp 4x card (900xgl)

will work in an agp 8x mother board.

but i'm wondering, do i need to adjust the voltages, or does the

motherboard automatically adjust?

the motherboards in question are:

asus p4c800
asus k8v deluxe
asus sk8n or sk8v
gigabyte K8NNXP-940

thanks

You don't need to do anything. The cards and slots are keyed so you can plug it in the wrong slot and if they are universal (like the 900 XGL), it will use the proper rails for power.
