hi everyone, im brand new to cgtalk but love the site. i just finished my animiation final wich ive been working on over 15 hours a day for the last week and decided to celebrate by working on a non school related drawing.
this is only my 3rd attempt or so at using a tablet for drawing and i think im starting to get used to it. anyway i spent about 20 minuts or so sketching this in photoshop and will hold off on doing anymore for the next couple days, please advise as to what it needs more or less of as far as mood, lighting, color, composition etc. or if its not worth proceeding with, if its too cliche ( mech girl with wings, not exactly origniall) and so on, if you feel like being brutall, by all means.
thanks
Ali

i worked on it a bit more tell me if you think im going in the right direction.

Good start, i like the contrast between the hair and the body.
The upper body looks good, but i think theres some anatomy problem between the hip and thighs. Also, the left hand seems too stiff. but the coloring is great, like your style, keep up the good work.

Jeez that's good, just the butt part looks a bit edgy, the rest is just amazing man... *right-click, save as...

hey everyone, thanks for the comments, i wasnt sure if i wanted to keep going on this, there are enough structural flaws to where i wasnt to excited about it to begin with but for what its worth i added a bit more, i got alot of pointy ass comments and wasnt sure if it was clear that she was sitting down, ... well of course it wasnt there was no background or environment drawn, so i scribbled those elements in, tell me what you think and as always i welcome harsh critiques

my more finished work:
