Your sampling for mental ray needs to be upped because your DOF is graining out all over the left side of the picture. As far as crits on the dog goes, I would like to see a bit more fur on his body, as it stands he looks, well naked. I think also a more menacing look to him, show more teeth would be better, he only looks half angry right now.

Nice! Scary too..
Maybe the skin a little smooth? Perhaps some wrinkles?

Hey, thanks for the replys!
Emmortal1: I've tryed some new renders raising the value for the number of photons in GI and final gather but the results are very similar (I didn't notice any substancial change...).I didn't touch the sampling parameters of DOF because I don't know if there are any. I'm totally new to mental ray and this is the first render I do with it and I don't really understand the help files (my english is quite horrendous  )...
About the fur on his body... well, the main purpose of this image was to make something naked, to see well the use of the textures (from the 3dtotal texture cds). But I didn't get the results I had in mind... I need improve my shading technic, among others... like modelling, I wanted to make something menacing and I got soething half menacing/friendly, but I didn't have enough references to make a good model. I've tryed showing more teeth (after some time tweaking the modeling) but I got nothing but a headache.
Thanks for your comments and critics.
Impus: I love your demon  :p .
Sunce1971: Thanks. I apreciate your kind words.
Ok, I'll be posting tomorrow the texture maps if someone is interested... I dunno...

Great image, I especially like the highlights. Seems to me however that the lips should be black. Excellent job with the ears too!

Good work. Mouth up or down, who cares. If animated this will all change anyway. realy good work.

The sampling values are in the render globals. You can change the RGBA sampling to a lower value like around .03 .03 .03 .03 and if that doesn't work, turn up your min/max samples to something around min 1 and max 2, turn on Jitter (if your 3d app has that feature) and change the filter type to Gausian.
