Nice looking image, but i think glasses are too dark considering the light in the scene, good work any way :)

I see what you mean. I'll give the windshield and side glass more transparency tonight and re-render. Thanks.

Looks lovely, good paint job. My only crit would be that it would be better if the curves could be smoother they look "edgy".
Great work

the car deserves a better environment. The image looks kinda cheap now, allthough it looks like a damn fine model.

Nice renders! Looks good overall, although a little faceted, needs to be smoother. Your decal maps look a slight bit pixelated, you may want to make them a bit bigger. Usually twice the size they will be displayed on screen is a good starting point. And the paint is a tad too reflective for a car from that era, clearcoat wasn't around in those days:D

I am trying to develop a simple generic "Showroom" to display my car models in instead of a generic Black background with a reflective floor as I was using. I want it to feel like it is in the "Real World" though I may not have succeeded as well as I would like.
Any recommendations? I don't want it to be too complex as to take away from the cars, or too specialized that it wouldn't fit for certain models.
Based on current recommendations I am going to lower the body reflections and raise the glass transparency. Hopefully that will help some.

I made changes to the render based on input from here. I changed the transparency of the glass to be more transparent. I also changed the texture map to the #7 Le Mans Gulf team car, I just couldn't get the #6 car to look acceptable in the curved sections of the stripe. I lowered the reflection of the body, some and I changed the hood to SubD's to smooth it out a bit. I also changed the camera a bit as well.
