Hey all,

This is a fundamentally simple character that I've always wanted to make. I should probably still clean up his geometry and finish off the mouth area. This render was created to test the shader and see if he was ok proportionally.

Comments/crits welcome .

Thanks for all the great comments guys!

One thing of note is that these images are from various levels of construction. So some things have already changed and updated. I'll post more current stuff in the next few days.

The char is really great...
I liked the face most.
But I have some suggestions --
1. The 'ankles' are huge, as big as his waist, look totaly out of proportion.
2. Same with shin.
3. The chest is extruded a bit too much, more like females.
4. Some bending issues in armpit?
5. How about a tail?

Waiting for animation .... :)

There's more Aussies here then I first expected.

We should band together and take over the world one forum at a time :).

Thanks though for the comments. I'll post a wire tonight and maybe another pose if I get time.

Hey all,

Here's the wires.

The source mesh (polysmooth proxy) needs some cleaning.

Just a quick pic to show the progress of the model.
Currently cleaning up the mesh and getting the edge loops flowing properly.
