Alright well it's the first time for me entering one of these, I hope i will have the time to finish it :). For my entry I chose Smee from the Disney(i think) movie Hook. While he wasn't a main character in this movie I still liked him enuf to go ahead and choose him. :). (not to mention Dustin Hoffmen's hair would be trouble for me to texture).

It is near to impossible to find any pictures of this man on the net and there is about 0 of him as Smee. So unfortunately I had to resort to downloading the movie and taking screen caps (it's legal tho since I own the Movie on VHS). Anyway here is what he looks like for those that need a refresh. I hope to be able to show some model progress shortly.

He's the second worst pirate I've ever heard of. But i have heard of him. :)

Should be fun to model, looking forward to it.

Ok.....soooooooooo I started him, and i'm already having problems. This is my first real attempt at a realistic not cartoony, or anime model, for some reason i don't feel it captures his likeness, it could be that i hae acctually given the beard real shape yet, or that the bandana(also simple colored polys no real shape yet) make him look different. Also my 2 min cruddy eye texture might be to blame.....Anyway crits would really really help, sorry it's not a propert render, this is jsut a screen grab from lightwave.
