View Full Version : Scene: The Icky Witch
DemonDazza 03-22-2004, 09:00 PM Here's an image of the Icky Witch that I'm working on at the moment in Lightwave. I'm currently in the process of building a forrest scene in which she'll be part of. The idea is to have an old, run-down cottage in the middle of a dark forrest with this witch peering out through one of it's grim glass windows waiting for her next unsuspecting victim to be invited in for "tea and biscuits".
I wanted 'Hansel and Grettel' but much darker. That's what I'm aiming for ;)
I created this early image to experiment with the 'mood' and to test that the witch looked alright. I'll post the final forrest/cottage scene when it's done in about 3 years :p

Looking great so far! I can't wait to see the forest you create! I'm keen on the "fairytale" style setting myself! :bounce:
Good luck! Even if it takes 3 years!! :p :p

Looks really cool. I'd love to see it animated.

Thanks guys!
Hey! I absolutely loved your Fairytale treehouse Kryten_8. Superb stuff. Very inspirational. If my forrest scene looks anywhere near as good as that, I'll be well made up. But now on to MachineFlesh...... ;)

creepy looking, something about the textures is a bit off, it looks like rubber, maybe toying around with the specularity might help, the eyes are awesome, like they can see right through you, good job
Ah but can you not also build bridges out of wood? Wait that's backwards ^_^ Nice model, I like the expression especially for some reason. I dunno it just does it for me :)
