3000 polys one 512x512 one 64x64 (for the petals) I based her on the recent lord of the rings "ents"

NIce model, I like the flowers. Makes her more feminen. I would like to see a bigger render though. These are a bit smallish.

nice ! not only that the flowers make her more like a women but that could be some kind of a crown too. Somethink like the queen of the forest.

i'd hate to spam your thread with a useless "holy crap! this is awesome!!!" post but....... HOLY CRAP!! THIS IS AWWWWESOME!!!!
i love how the cracked green texture works on the face. she reminds me a lot of Gaiman/McKean's Black Orchid. the only thing i would have a quip about is how the roots seem to come out from under her feet. i think they would be more effective if the roots WERE her feet, but thats just me. well done!

I agree on the feet.
Also the body skin looks wrong to me.... just doesnt fit or something i guess.
The model is great, i would try to rework the skin on the body out some though along with redoing the feet.

Pretty damn decent.....
I also agree on the feet bit.... they need to be one with her legs.... they seem to sepertare.... I think there needs to be a bit more uniformity.
The hands seem a bit odd to me. Maybe too human. I personally would prefer them to be a bit more branch like.....
How about adding more variation to the bark, like some more heavier grain/lines.....
Love the petals... sooo delicate....
Great work.... :D

you guys are right about the feet. i sort of cheaped out on them to save time. This character is on my demo reel which goes out at the end of the week. Ill try and change the feet before then. luckly they are not as easy to spot on ntsc if i run out of time.

One little thing I noticed was that the branches coming out of her chest werent welded to the rest of the model. Are they to be rigged and animated?

i have remade the feet but havent changed the texture on them. Also i reworked some of the skin texture. The branches are seperate so that rigging is easier
