That last one, makes things a bit clearer, I like it. Just out of curiosity what are you painting this with?, nice to see some traditional work at any rate, and it's making me itch to pick up a paintbrush again.

woah finally some feedback, thanks guys, yeah i do agree the thumbs and light pencils are hard to get a feel of what it is. i usually do not do thumbs and go from there i usually work backwards so this is quite an excersize...

flying p: i am using india ink, acrylic, spray paint, air brush ink, w/ no airbrish, and a paint marker. i will do color corrections and a bit of layout in corel once the physical part of it is complete.

squibbit: qwack qwack, haha nah it is a fish. with a big bottm lip and a goatee !!

thanks marshall i'll have to see if i can open up a can of funk tonight!!!

Refreshingly different approach, how are you implementing digital work into this medium?

The combination of tones, and work on the material canvas stirs up wonderful appreciations!

hey guys here is the pencils for the fat guy thumb sketch , sorry fat guys,

Continuumx: for the fish concept, i will use corel suite to do touchups-color corredtions, and a little bit of layout. althought it said nothing in the rules about having to submit a fullly digitial medium, it only says "illustration"

i plan on using the digital tools, but i hope that they will not use this as an excuse/ technicality to disqualify anyone because it does not say traditional work is not accepted. nowhere does it say that it has to be digital it says, 3d-2d, i was thinking about submitting a sculpture for 3d, i think someone did that though already.

fish ?? it got an eyeball in it's mouth ?

arg , I still see a duck , sorry

And like the others said , great combo
of working styles !
friend of mine said he could
by me airbrush so i could train that but i
would have to paint evil things to him then
so i dunno , might be scary

Truely original and inspiring bud, i must get out into the woods more often, if this is the kind of awesome stuff it produces.
Your situation almost makes me think of Evil Dead 2, ASH has his hand possessed and it keep trying to kill him.
Instead youve been posessed my some insane artistic genius. Love your work, keep it up mate.
