Seeking artist for cd cover project

Please post more details about the project including it's use (CD distribution or number of copies), deadline, & what your budget is for this work. I'm sure you'll get plenty of interested artists with more info available.

The poster above was correct, I should have provided some more information.

I received some FANTASTIC art as a result of the post here (although the artist we ended up hiring is not from this forum). There are definetly some talented people here.

Although my particular art position is filled, I think there is definetly a need for quality artists in the world of independent music. In my music genre (heavy metal) there are just a handfull of artists that do the bulk of work. And most of these guys have more work then they can handle.

The pay? The going rate is around $1000 for a complete cd layout.

Other then talent, these record companies look for guys who can deliver on time (the most important thing) and adapt to changes quickly.
