Hi there,
I have been a member of CG talk for ages now but recently I had to change e-mails so I just signed up again as a new member.. But now all of my messages are being checked or something and they take ages to actually get up there??.
My old username used to be 'Sfinktinator' and my address was pete@act3.com.au, but now I'm 'pete' and the address is sfinkty@hotmail.com, I kinda prefer pete than Sfinktinator though so please don't change that back around or anything... Just if there's some way to allow me to skip the whole 'new member' pain.. I can give you more details if you need them

I suggest you send a PM to an administrator. If I remember correctly Leigh is the one taking care of account name problems.

I'd also like to point to you that the whole "New user" process is necessary. It prevents random users to spam the forum with porn, warez, or other useless stuff.

All new users have to go through this process. After 5 posts only will you be able to post new messages by yourself.

Ok I have deleted this account you posted this message with, and renamed your old account to "pete" with your new email address. Hope this is what you wanted!
