Hi people, this is a character that I made just for fun. His name is Olaf, the Viking. :)
Here a link to a different version, with cold colors. Cold Colors Version (http://www.zarbdesign.com.br/diversos/viking_render-final.jpg)
Tell me what you think, and about the versions, how is better.
C&C are welcome

Psycho look on his face. He has blood on stranges places, like is soulder, but he is not wounded once. But Nice charakter there.

Thanks for the comments
maybe if you add some specular to the skin shader and change the materials of the pants you'd get a nicer scene IMO
looks good anyway:)

this is a very unique image. I think there are a couple of place though that you could stand to improve on:
the materials are a little weak, especially on his pants. but you probably know that already.
some of the modeling seems unfinished. he's got rubbery tube-like arms that lack definition, and the thumb on his left hand looks pretty deformed, for starters. all around the modeling could be tightened up.
the colors could also be tweaked. for instance, the red on his pants/shoulder. it might be blood, it might be paint, but right now it just looks like "red," which is neither blood nor paint.
I do like this color combo better than the cooler one though. it's almost like a palette from a children's book. I figure, if you're going for weird, go all out.
which brings me to what I do like about this image. it's really weird. very strange. between the colors, the pose, the almost-painted plaster model texture everything has, and the expression on his face, I find myself very weirded out. which strikes me as a good thing.
