you will not believe it, following the post of Teg on frenchcinema4d, I wanted to know some more about the rules of the contest, and I believed that I needed to log me to reach the rules, and I found myself registers.
I'm not fine, or am not rather badly finished!
Now, I will try to make the contest, just to find an idea...

Sorry for my english !
After having seen the good work you all does here I pushed myself a little to think of a subject which would also enable me to progress. Handling badly the splines, I was given for challenge to make that this job fills this gap.
Finally by seeing the work of Base80 (Formulas) and JC (Paros) from the frenchcinema4d forum, The "Art Nouveau " style imposed on me like an obviousness and as this style is a wonder "architecturalement" and rather funny graphically, I had my environnement. Some pictures researchs on Google to give me some references. Sorry for no sketch, I have no more scanner, dead and in fact, sketch and rough are not my way of working process. I hope it will be no problem to this point. Often I make a picture search and make a little "photomontage" to obtain a little idea for the concept, or I adapt the concept "au fur et à mesure".
For the subject, I thought especially of lights, environments, a completed time vhere the World be transformed (1917: the October Revolution, The Art Nouveau, the first mail flights and civil transport, the horrible First World War...). A scene to mix the men at the machine, this hinge's time from past, at the beginning of the century where the industrial metallurgy who entered the daily newspaper and the life of people. At the point perhaps to a kind of osmosis. Thus this astonishing clock and watch maker, hybrid between technology he's working and the other who lives in his body, which forms a unit with this he believes being and true.
I would like he's peacefully sleep (the table of David with dead Marat is not used that as reference frame of installation and light) in its tub connected to a machinery complexes of watches and horloges, of pipes fleeing to the exterior (towards where, towards whom?? ), planetary symbol for a time and information synchronism (this newspaper taken with light then it announces the revolution d'octobre). Surrealist beginning for a spectacle which continue always today. Here is for the concept, I am not sure to finish this, after all it's just a exercise.
Still thank you to follow me.

I just begun the modelling process with splines and box modelling.
In first, I try to make the "glass room" inspired by the Horta's House in belgium, specifically "art nouveau".
Some pictures and a little try for a room with lights.

Spirit of Art Nouveau is one of the best in academic art history.
As I can see you know it and you know too how can it be used.
Congratulations man! via this challenge I also keep it in mind this period of art as I try to use its set of expressions with curves.
nowadays I hope it will be back to change this boring minimal design.
Ciao:wavey:

Hello, old fella...

@ Scarlie : Thx Ariel for the kind words and nice to see you on my thread.
@ Numz, Lemog : Merci les gars !
@ Decoder : Sorry for the french, I try to write in english  , thank you to come here.
@ Tremoside : Thx for your words. It's really hard for me to play with this curves, that's why the Art Nouveau Style is a challenge for me. My mod' normally is more cubic. Here you can find some of my work in a WIP :
