still lots of things to do...survival is why these creature become one with the machine. It uses these machine to capture sea creature and store it on his stomach now not part machine. It no longer need to eat from it's mouth but it could eat from it's temporary storage.
I'm thinking of half machine fish for food cause the mechanical part of the creature need some nourishment too...even the whole environment look different.

The world has change you see now human, pets, animals, insect almost anything on land is part machine part flesh a new evolution. With all the technology around also bring junk, junk that was dump on the ocean floor that somewhat change the the ways of life under the sea. Sea creatures or lifeform adapt in order to survive, without knowing they too is slowly changing adapting becoming part machine and part flesh
