View Full Version : XSI Bounty Hunter
hellblade 07-06-2002, 08:25 PM My first character. The image is too dark to see the pants, but I wanted that dark atmosphere. C&C welcome :)

hey hb, heh dont worry, ppl are always slow when it comes to filling up new posts.
Your image looks good, but a bit too dark even when i juice up
the brightness on my monitor. Heres a couple of cents
The guys shoulders look a bit flat, donno if thats the lighting or
the mesh itself. try to have it bulge up more.
Uhm, yea, you should try and add some highlights on the rifle
aswell, to get out some of its shapes better.
that makes it my 2 cents.
cheers

Thanks for your reply, the shoulders have been brought to my attention. The problem stems from my complete lack of any weight-painting/rigging skill. Love your avatar, btw!

Hell blade, add some more light so people can give more critique if its not finished , POst it in the WIP and not finished section.

the model looks good so far, the shaders might need a bit mroe of work, otherwise, it's pretty good.
You should also add some lights with low itensity in the back to reveal more.
Keep up the good work

yeah the model looks good but I think you should set him in a nuclear / post-motem enviroment.
But keep it dark! ;)

Alright another Book of Five Rings fan!
Looks like you've got the modeling skills.
First thing you need to do is tighten up the lighting in the image. Maybe add a backlight to bring out more of your character. If you're going with a night time feel. Try adding some blue fill lights.
Post this in the WIP section and work on it. This piece has great potential.
