Another WIP. and a story about the picture :)
Text was written by a friend of mine Lothar. hope ye like it ;)

A dog's life

In the year 2040 scientists of the international BIOPET-Corporation archived a breakthrough in cybernetic technology and the altering of biological lifeforms. Without knowing they changed the path of history forever. Using a natural male dog the BIOPET-Specialists implemented a special neural interface which enabled it's carrier to process speech data and develope basic inteligence. I mean it really was sort of a breakthrough. Look, it could even talk with you (due to its semi-neural processing unit and the fast-adapting speech script implemented) and learn new words as you name them. The little babble dog flooded over the planet like a giant tsunami. Kids and even adults competed in international championships where the dog with the most words and the most fluid articulation won a price.

After some time the BIOPET-Specialists upgraded the basic version and added a completely new component: A humanoid robot with a direct link to the cybernetic part of the dog. It took care of all the unwanted and bothersome functions that naturaly come with a cyberneticaly enhanced dog pet (e.g.: feeding, spending time caressing and taking it for a walk). It was now possible to posess a pet dog without actually having to care about it.

Unfortunately, as time went by, a majority of the "improved" babble dogs evolved a close realationship to their droid companions resulting in fully interactive conversation. Humans were no longer needed. It was then only a matter of time before the first babble dog archieved a moderate level of inteligence and suddenly discovered that freedom is desireable. It started with "Fondle-Charley", a babble dog who with the help of his droid companion managed to live on it's own.

It is now 10 years later. Human civilisation ... changed. Babble dogs and their droid companions now populate large cities. And as a whole new civilisation came into being - the surroundings change with them. The shape of buildings, tools - everything presents itself in a new light, a new design meeting the requirements of a dog's life.

It has something to to with steaks. And bones definitely fit in there somewhere. Imagine it. What would it be like ... ?

Nice work bud, love the detail in the image, ive spent a bit of time looking at it cafefully and the things you notice are really cool. I really like bone vending machine in the background, i couldnt figure out what the fembot was doing at first but... it was like :lightbulb COOL! and the Fire hydrant in the background, classic! even half robotic dog can resist a hydrant. hehehe:thumbsup: :D

Well done!:applause:

Thanks a lot for the feedback guys :)
Yeah the hydrant ist methane driven. As you might hardly spot the hydrant got a shovel and a broom to pick up the dogs Sh*t and then its methane is used to propell the floating hydrant :)
i will post a larger version in better quality than this 150k from my own webspace soon. hope then all the text will be readable too.

OrcOYoyo great art! Dog close up shows some nice colors. I also have been checking out your other stuff. Like that workshop and all. :wavey:

Personally i think that your machine flesh entry is some kind of Metroid Prime meats the doggy biscuit land. It would be nice to see what have you written on the panels at the side of the screens.

One thing is bit confusing to me. Is this supposed to be a window? Or portal to another world? Or view from a visor of the dog?

I also tried to decode that dog print panel. Its obviusly full of numbers :applause:
