Sketch of an elf that said she lost her legs in an advanced and very missfortunate sex-act, I didn´t dare ask for details ;) Anyway as I hope u can see she has a mechanical waist with a hover function allowing her to move around almost as good as any human with legs possibly even a bit better or atleast faster.

Still tons of stuff I haven´t made up my mind about yet like clothes and hair etc..

Another concept, lost her left leg when playing hide n seek as a kid. Luckely a fine carpenter and a wise sorcerer managed to make a new one out of wood.

It seems to me you're going into the prothesis use of technical enhancements.

This idea has been used before (hehe like most ideas anyway) so i think it might be important that you show the emotions of the character that has a prothesis, for example maybe the wooden leg was just finished and you see her happily dancing around while the sorcerer looks content with his work :)

That is kind of what I am trying to capture =) she lost her leg as a child and got a magical wooden one that grows with the body and can be used just like any normal elvish leg. Now she´s grown up and gotten used to the idea of living a life with a wooden leg and sits quietly high up in her favorite tree listening to nature and feeling the wind in her hair. Doesn´t she seem to be enjoying life? =)
I don´t want to go with the mainstream and by that I mean killer-machines with sad or generaly evil people the just came from the operation that made them what they are having blood and torn up skin all over.

Tho I do like the idea of adding a sorcerer.

Ah nice idea, maybe the pic above didn't work for me since she doesn't have a face on it ;)
I would try some other pictures of her being happy just to see what works best :)

Say, got any feedback for my machineflesh scribbles? See the link in my post...

Yet another concept sketch :P This one's a ninja with some hardware installed that allows her to make those 25-30m jumps between trees and houses like u see em do in the movies.

Enhanced tructure for legs and spine so that she can drop from heights without braking any bones. Also has small jets to gain thrust when she jumps.

I like the wooden leg concept, don't know where it has been
used before, but don't give it up. Maybe look at it from another
angle. The ninja concept kinda kills the whole myth and
supernatural feel about ninjas. So be careful there.
Keep it up!

Yea I think I like the wooden leg concept the most =) will probably go with that one. Not many that uses wooden mechanical enhancements in this contest, might give me an edge.
