View Full Version : Character: Dwarf

Just a generic dwarf I've started modelling. I would like some input on what I could change before I start doing the textures. Thanks
Make the beard looks like it's hanging and less sticking out?
Just possible suggestions.

Something about where his bicep meets his forearm looks funky. And the shoulder is going to have problems when it comes to deformations. The knees too for that matter.
In reguards to the beard it looks like you have it following the contour of the chest, which would be correct.
I don't like how you've got his forehead joining there in the middle... I would bring that 3-vert intersection down to where the brow is.

I made the changes that were suggested, and started on the texture. Head is almost done.

not bad but you use way to many faces in the face and just leave the rest of the body rather simple. His arms also seem very long. I would make the shorter and fatter.
The texture is getting there but the areas around his forhead are way to overhighlighted. The nose also
keep it up

Next model I will try to keep the poly count in the face lower.
Finished the head texture, moving on to body, almost done with it, just need to add in some more detail. Next up is axe and helmet, then rigging time.
Necks seems a bit long for a dwarf.
