Yay! new challenge
Just messing with an idea, to begin with I think I will concentrate on the natural designs of my alien creatures without any of the implants / alterations. I feel this will give me a better idea of what direction I want to travel in.
Going to search out some anatomy references to help me :)

oh man..a muscular "sperm"? ...Good luck man! Wish i dun haf one wif me. hehe..jst kidding..
U can try to make its eyes more into a serious or realistic look. it looks cartoonish eyes. Forget my words, if u goin for a cartoonish style. A bigger or thick tail dat might use to attack enemy & supporting to stand up when his arms are tired? The neck seems not to connecting to its jaws. it will haf a hard time to swallow his drools or any foods.
the "thumb" on his hands seems wont support his body weigh dat long? Maybe u no need to draw out the thumb too long at the second pic. correct me if i am wrong.
R u goin to attach some mechanical part on it? jst asking..
