cute lil' robot though!
reminds me of a quite old film...hmmm...how was it name.....i think it was "the wonder on the sixth? street" sorry but i only know the german name of the film ;) anyway there were those cute little robots helping some old guys kiving in a house which is going to be torn down. then with the robots help everything turns goo->happy end....like in every film:D

what would be cool, is if the eyes could retract allowing the top and bottom discs to close together for sleep mode or something...

hehe guess what Judas_Pilate. what you just said is possible. when i was designing the pod..those where the exact features i was thinking about. and when i was modeling, i made it so the eye lids would close and extract back..while the eyes are moving back in the lid closes down.
